First allow us to simply save all checks unprinted. (more practical)
Second allow us to exit, saving the workspace, and come back. Allowing us to do other things, like edit employee pay scales if we didn't before hand (requested elsewhere).
I'd like both functions as they are useful in different ways at different times, but if only one is feasible I think the first would be best.
