After our CPA made several attempts to try and open my corp file, I started sending her Working Trial Balances in Excel for her to reconcile against. Finally, she was able to open Sage and "Restore Backup". I would think, as an accounting software company, technical support would be available after hours -- especially around important tax deadlines. As a small business owner, I do not only work 7A to 6P Monday thru Friday. Normally it is late evenings and weekends. Even at large corporations I worked at, around tax time, the accounting departments worked evenings and weekends. I was both surprised and disappointed that SAGE was not available to field a technical support call after hours.
