If only some of the jurisdiction for an address charge tax on freight, Sage cannot accurately calculate sales tax. For example, the total tax is 10%: 3% state, 7% city. The state does not charge tax on freight, but the city does. Even if the state is set to no tax on freight and the city is set to tax freight, when you combine the two, you have to choose yes or no to freight being taxed and it then applies or does not apply that rule to the full 10%. Sales tax must be manually adjusted for each invoice. Then since the tax has been manually adjusted, it does not show correctly on the sales tax reports.
