Many companies have unique non-standard fonts that have been carefully chosen to represent their company on printed and digital media. This is commonly referred to as "branding." Modern PDF creation tools embed the fonts into their PDFs so that those who open the documents are not required to have the unique non-standard fonts preinstalled on the devices they're viewing them from. Unfortunately, Sage has not updated their code for this in years. As a result, customer's devices that do not have the required fonts preinstalled will automatically be substituted for a different font - which changes the entire appearance of the invoice - sometimes to the point where the substituted font is barely legible. Most companies may not even be aware that this is happening because the invoices will always appear correctly from the computer they're being generated on. It should be an embarrassment to Sage that something so basic and fundamental has never been implemented.
