Have a separate procedure to add Customers and Vendors to a separate database so multiple companies has access to them to avoid duplicating information for each company

My organization owns 10 companies. If there are shared vendors and/or customers I have to enter the vendor's and/or customer's information 10 times. It would to great to be able to enter the vendor's and/or customer's information 1 time and have the ability to "link" it to a company. Reporting capability would be needed as well.
