Allow Customer To Change the Defaults in your Combo Box for Searching for a Customer Record

For 12 Years every entry has to be done by clicking the drop down menu and choosing which field to look up. If it appeared as a default instead of Id in the combo box I would not have to use the combo box on 1000's of entries...just type in the address.


I realize that when you designed your combo box and dragged and dropped the fields into your query builder your normal starting point is customer id....but that results in me having to always use your combo box drop down. I don't want to do that....I want to just have the 1st field be bill to address so I eliminate the need to select your combo box on every entry.


Yes, you did a nice job of allowing us to select which fields will appear and we can move them up and down....great...but even if you remove all the fields and add them back in the order you wantto see.....still the CustomerID primary key is the only thing you can see in the combo box top row.


Help us out....12 year of forced use of this incideous combo box is enough....
let us decide which field is in the top row of the query please!
